The improvements to the Blesta billing system are pretty widely known, and Blesta 3 is one of the most exciting releases that the company has ever unveiled. In the past weeks and months, the developers have been redesigning the interface, the API capabilities, and the authentication features among many other elements. Blesta 3 is really taking out the stops by making it more modular and scalable. The difference between previous versions of Blesta and the new version is that Blesta 3 is built upon an open-source framework.
The new version of Blesta will require a double authentication procedure that involves two distinctive factors: username/password and physical token. This gives a multi-faceted approach to security and keeps servers and accounts safer by using a dual-method. The API features has also been updated and expanded to include a more functional and usable model of the former Blesta API. Making Blesta more open source is a great feature for anyone that wants to develop new plug-ins or elements for the billing system program.
Blesta has taken a couple of things very seriously when developing and redesigning their billing system software, and the most important are ease of access and security. Anyone is able to access the billing system from any location, and the security features are some of the best in the billing system industry. These are some of the reasons why Blesta Version 3 will be an all encompassing API, which will allow end users to do virtually anything via API that they would be able to do while they were logged in to the billing system. Additionally, when it comes to security, the RSA two-factor security is hard to break if not nearly impossible. Using two-factor security to protect their billing system, Blesta is now leading the crowd when it comes to advanced security features.

Some recently announced changes have been made to the latest version of Plesk. All of these exciting features have made Plesk an even better choice as a control panel. The new APS 1.2 support system is revolutionizing the industry by allowing customers to install third party applications with the Application Packaging Standard (APS).
In addition to the APS feature, file sharing is now permitted in the Parallels Plesk control panel. In the past, the SBP (small business panel) handled file sharing, but now it has been replaced and added to the new panel so that everyone can now use the improved file sharing capabilities.
The other features on the new Plesk control panel include increased support for the CentOS alternative repositories. This measure was put in place to ensure that Plesk’s interface can be easily updated to become compatible with alternative repositories.
Small businesses will now be able to utilize the full Parallels Plesk Panel rather than the small business panel that has been used in the past. The migration process is very simple, and the backup and restoration tools provide for a seamless and easy transition to the new control panel.
To make the transition to the Plesk control panel even easier for customers, there are now several video tutorials that can be viewed to answer common questions and give step-by-step guidance on how to begin using the new Plesk panel.
Many upgrades have also been made to the third party components like the MySQL database, the ProFTPd, and the phpMyAdmin modules. This allows users to keep all aspects of the Plesk control panel fully up-to-date. In order to make the upgrade experience even better, the Parallels installer will now perform a self-upgrade to ensure that the very latest plesk updates are being installed to the current version of the panel.

Softaculous is one of the most powerful and dynamic auto-installers on the market. Since its release, Softaculous has truly excelled at its market share, surpassing even some of the more established auto-installers such as Fantastico and Installatron. This program is so versatile and diverse that it will provide you with the ability to install over 175 different scripts onto your existing websites in a myriad of different categories. You can even use Softaculous free to install 60+ scripts, but if you license the premium Softaculous auto-installer, you will have access to every script available through the Softaculous program.
Softaculous has additional benefits that other auto-installers do not because it has the most comprehensive variety of scripts available within its system. It is a much more cost-effective choice for web hosting resellers and businesses. The program’s interface is wonderful, and everything is extremely well documented making the scripts and applications super easy to find and understand. You can expand Softaculous in a number of ways because it works with open-source applications, and you can get extensive support for your control panel.
The support offered by Softaculous is one of the many features that make the program much more functional, versatile, and user-friendly than its competitors. Some competitors are still only supporting one control panel, for example, Fantastico only supports cPanel, but Softaculous shows its true colors again for being the most dynamic, excellent auto-installer on the market by supporting many control panels like cPanel, Plesk, DirectAdmin, H-Sphere, ISPmanager, and InterWorx. This makes it the most used auto-installer on the market.
The benefits of using Softaculous are multi-faceted since you cannot quantify the increased satisfaction of your clients with your services. You may also be able to generate more new clients by offering the Softaculous scripts for them to use and customize.
