WHMCS V4.5 has recently released its stable version, beating ClientExec to the draw with its latest release of their software! WHMCS V4.5 Beta is the culmination of weeks of testing, improving, and 4 months total of hard work to finally release the stable release.  This new release features improvements that were the most common cause of confusion and problems in the past.

The new version offers order form designs with ajax and is overall more visually appealing. Along with the ajax order forms, they added an ajax based shopping cart.  Also, javascript sliders have been added for product and quantity based selections, as well as the ability to highlight features, and automate comparison table products.

WHMCS billing system has also added many improvements to their invoicing, billing, domain management and much more.

All we have to say is wow! The upcoming release of WHMCS has blown our socks off. There are massive enhancements to the overall system, including but not limited to: new GUI for the backend, multi-language support, automatic invoice cancellation of unpaid invoices, and many other advanced features. When you are looking for a billing system that can automate many of your tasks and assist you in managing your billing data and information more efficiently, then WHMCS is definitely an option that is worthy of your consideration.

WHMCS has a vast array of features that come standard with the older versions of the software, but now that they have updated and enhanced what they have to offer, WHMCS is a major power play in the billing system software industry. The great thing about WHMCS is that they take the feedback of their customers very seriously, and they are often updating to solve issues that customers have encountered on earlier versions of the software.

Additionally, WHMCS has added many new features for the cPanel module allowing users to now create and upgrade plans on the fly without having to ensure that all vital data about the hosting plan is imported on WHMCS. Here are a few of the changes that you can expect to see on WHMCS 4.5: shopping cart upgrades, new settings for orders and products, support for multiple domain registrations at once, customized invoices, new provisioning modules, more support for upgrades and downgrades, improved handling of payments, and much more. Since WHMCS now allows support for multiple languages, the program is even more versatile than ever before. When you look at how WHMCS has progressed over the years, it is amazing how well the system has been developed and maintained. For billing system software, WHMCS is at the top end of the spectrum, and it is continuing to climb with this WHMCS 4.5 release!

We’d like to give a huge thanks to the committed team of alpha and beta testing customers (some of which were ours)!  This first build is the apogee of several weeks of your hard work.

If you are interested in upgrading your current installation, you can find the release files in the Downloads section of your client area which will require an active support agreement. The upgrade process is quick and easy, much like any other ClientExec release; however, we do not have an incremental upgrade package available.If you experience any issues or just simply wish share your feedback on the 4.1 Release Candidate, please send us an e-mail to support@licensecube.com.  We always love hearing from you and will be glad to take care of any issue you happen to run into.

Important: As with any upgrade, ensure that you take a full backup of your database before proceeding.

While no official release dates have been confirmed yet, there have been rumors that the latest version of ClientExec 4.1 should be released by the middle of the month. According to speculation, ClientExec 4.1 is currently undergoing the testing process so that it can be released as quickly as possible to the public. Everyone is waiting to see how the ClientExec system will have changed with this upgrade. The developers have worked tirelessly to give ClientExec an even more intuitive interface and a stronger, more powerful feature set.

ClientExec is going to have a vast amount of new features such as integrated live chat, unified invoices, and many other features that have not yet been disclosed. The unified invoices are a really interesting upgrade because they allow you to merge multiple invoices into a single one, making the transaction process much simpler for both administrator and client. ClientExec is continually upgrading their software so that they can better meet the needs of their customers, but this ClientExec release is set to be the best ever.

Recently, ClientExec released the new software to an beta test group to make sure that there are no major bugs or errors that need to be fixed before it is released to the rest of the world. The interesting thing is that ClientExec is already running the new software on their system, but since they are aware that they may run into a few minor problems, they are allowing it to be tested thoroughly before most of their customers have access to it. Some of the feature upgrades that you can expect on the new ClientExec platform are stock control, powerful product handling, a few updates to the admin center, a team calendar function, and a redesigned front end. With all of the new features on ClientExec, they are taking a significant step in the right direction.

For all of you current and prospective ClientExec users, it looks like the launch date of their newest version, ClientExec 4.1, is quickly approaching!  In our last blog post we highlighted some of the incredible new features that can be expected in ClientExec 4.1.  Since that time, ClientExec has expanded on a few of these added features. For all of you current fans, or prospective buyers, ClientExec has announced a sneak peak into their next version release, version 4.1!  As current customers can attest, ClientExec is known for its highly customizable and intuitive interface, and seamless integration into any environment.  Together, these features make this billing system one of the most popular choices among resellers.  So, what can we expect ClientExec to bring us with this latest version?

If you’ve been waiting for stock control, you’ll be excited to know that this will be included in the new ClientExec version.  They have created a user-friendly system that is still capable of producing powerful results.   You will be able to fully control all of your offerings and the quantity of each.  You also have more control with how your system displays out of stock products and such as hiding the prices for the products you have sold out of.

For those of you who have been requesting an easier system in which to sell things other than web hosting, your requests have been heard!  ClientExec 4.1 will now be designed to allow you to more easily sell products such as, hosting related products, domains (including single domain names), SSL, and the ability to bundle any combinations of these together!

Also, you will find a lot of updates to the admin UI that will make things a little easier on you.  These updates include the ability to see who else is viewing the same page  and the ability to quickly go back to the last five tickets previously viewed.   Also within ClientExec’s admin interface, you will now be able to automatically save the dynamic grids throughout the interface so that you can customize each grid to your needs. ClientExec has also added more options to customize the grids as well such as, hiding, sorting, ordering and filtering.

If you liked the ‘Team Status’ module, you’ll appreciate the fact that they are adding more updates to this.  You will also find a new design with the frontend templates.  This will give a fresher appearance and can be integrated easily into any website, as the new template is written with half as much HTML and CSS coding.

ClientExec has not yet set a release date for their latest version; but don’t worry, we’ll keep you updated as we know how anxious you ClientExec fans can be about new version releases!
